I am a psychotherapist that has worked in the mental health field as a researcher, clinician and advocate for the working people of New York City for over 10 years. I hold a BS in Psychology, an MS in Neuroscience and Developmental Disabilities and MSW in Social Work. Most recently I attended the National Institute of Psychotherapies(NIP), completing a certificate program in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. Additionally, I am a certified Substance Abuse Professional, (SAP) and a Supervisor in the Field Instructor, (SIFI), as well as one year training in Gestalt Psychotherapy. Through the Beck Institute I have gained intensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy(CBT and Depression). Since 2011 I have been a clinical social worker at an Employee Assistance Program at District Council 37. A native of New York City, I believe strongly in the mind-body connection. My specialization include but not limited to interpersonal conflict, grief therapy, depression,anxiety management, anger managements and stress management.
